6. No change in position played shall be made once the game has commenced.<br />
Teams must play with the stones provided and colors as assigned on the sheet<br />
of ice. Under no circumstances can stones be moved from one sheet to another.<br />
7. In the event of any disagreement between skips, the Event Representative shall<br />
be consulted.<br />
8. An On Call Umpire will be available via telephone to handle any disputes. The<br />
Event Representative shall not make a decision but shall call the On Call Umpire.<br />
9. In the event of a tie, the game is to proceed until a point is scored to decide the<br />
winner.<br />
10. Should any emergency arise during the time of the bonspiel, the Bonspiel<br />
Committee may change the <strong>Curl<strong>Manitoba</strong></strong> General Bonspiel Rules.<br />
11. To be eligible for a berth in any <strong>Curl<strong>Manitoba</strong></strong> event a team must have won a<br />
minimum of 1 game during the event.<br />
12. No payouts shall be awarded at the Sport Region Qualifiers and Berth Bonspiels.<br />
13. All teams advancing to a Provincial Championship must have three (3) players<br />
that participated at the qualifying event in which the team earned their berth to<br />
a Championship. Each of those three (3) players MUST be present and play in<br />
the Championship.<br />
14. It is at the discretion of each club to decide whom they will accept as associate<br />
or regular members of their club. Such decisions must be made by December 5 th<br />
to allow those individuals to be eligible to play in Provincial Championships.<br />
15. At all berth bonspiels, bonspiels with a berth and regional qualifiers the top team<br />
on the draw is the top of the scoreboard.<br />
16. No ice preparation shall occur during the course a game in progress at any<br />
<strong>Curl<strong>Manitoba</strong></strong> event.<br />

The signature of approval for certifying eligibility on all<br />
entries is the only person allowed to alter an entry, therefore<br />
maintaining the team’s eligibility affirmation.<br />
