<strong>Curl<strong>Manitoba</strong></strong> Rules Changes<br />

2013-2014 Season<br />

1. All senior events leading up to and including the Provincial Championships will be 8 ends.<br />

2. At all events coaches will be given a maximum time to access their team when a time out is<br />

called. Once the maximum amount of time (20 seconds on average) is reached the one<br />

minute will begin.<br />

3. Junior Teams may register an assistant coach for events leading up to and including the<br />

Provincial Championship.<br />

4. Ice preparation at unofficiated events will be done prior to the start of each games only.<br />

5. No team shall seed themselves for a <strong>Curl<strong>Manitoba</strong></strong> event.<br />

6. The Mixed Championship format will be 4 groups of 4 advancing to an eight team knockout<br />

with 4 teams advancing to a page playoff.<br />

7. The seeds for the 16 Team – 4 group Championship shall be 1, 8, 9, 16 and 2, 7, 10, 15 and<br />

3, 6, 11, 14 and 4, 5, 12, 13 respectively.<br />

8. The Senior Women‟s Provincial Championship will be an open entry event.<br />

9. A draw for hammer will occur at all events leading up to the Provincial Championship except in<br />

junior competitions.<br />

10. The Dominion Championship will be exempt from the cresting standards.<br />
