skip shall be of opposite gender and one of these two individuals shall deliver the<br />

final two stones of the end for their team.<br />

7. Athlete verification shall be as shown on the list of members of the club for the<br />

current season filed with CURLMANITOBA.<br />

8. If a team is declared ineligible after securing a provincial berth, then the team cannot<br />

compete in the Provincial Championship by dropping the ineligible member(s). They<br />

are simply not eligible and the entire team will be replaced.<br />

9. All provincial participants must sign and submit a <strong>Curl<strong>Manitoba</strong></strong> Participation<br />

Agreement and a <strong>Curl<strong>Manitoba</strong></strong> Cresting Agreement seven (7) days prior to the<br />

Provincial Championship.<br />

a. Seven Days is PRIOR TO NOON from the start of the Pre-Event Practice. (I.e.<br />

if the pre-event practice is Wednesday the agreements are due the week<br />

prior on the Tuesday)<br />

b. If a team does not submit the two agreements seven (7) days prior to the<br />

Championship, <strong>Curl<strong>Manitoba</strong></strong> will name an alternate team.<br />

10. In the event of a Berth Winner Team not being able to compete at a Provincial<br />

Championship, <strong>Curl<strong>Manitoba</strong></strong> will name an alternate team.<br />

AGE REQUIREMENTS<br />

<strong>Manitoba</strong> Games (U18)<br />

Each competitor shall be a maximum of 17 years of age on December 31st of the year prior to<br />

the National Championship (born 1996 or later).<br />

Junior<br />

Each competitor shall be a maximum of 20 years of age on December 31st of the year prior to<br />

the National Championship (born 1993 or later).<br />

Women‟s/Men‟s/Mixed<br />

Each competitor shall be nineteen (19) years of age or older on December 31st of the year prior<br />

to the National Championship (born 1994 or before).<br />

Senior Women/Men<br />

Each competitor on a team must be fifty (50) years of age or older on December 31 st of the<br />

year prior to the Canadian Senior‟s Championship (born 1963 or earlier).<br />

Master Women/Men<br />

Each competitor on a team must be sixty (60) years of age or older on December 31 st of the<br />

year prior to the Canadian Senior‟s Championship (born 1953 or earlier).<br />
