No sale or delivery <strong>of</strong> liquor shall be made on or from <strong>the</strong> premises <strong>of</strong> a liquor store or liquor vendor<br />
a) on Sunday,<br />
i) from 00:00 until 12:00, and<br />
ii) after 18:00;<br />
b) on Good Friday, Easter Sunday or Christmas Day;<br />
c) on Remembrance Day, before 13:00; or<br />
d) during such o<strong>the</strong>r periods; and on such o<strong>the</strong>r days, as <strong>the</strong> commission may direct.<br />

18. Hours <strong>of</strong> opening<br />
1) No premises in respect <strong>of</strong> which <strong>the</strong>re is a General On-Licence or Limited On-Licence<br />
obtained under <strong>the</strong> provisions <strong>of</strong> section 4 shall be open to <strong>the</strong> public before 7.30 in <strong>the</strong><br />
morning and after 11 o’clock at night.<br />
2) No liquor shall be sold for consumption <strong>of</strong>f <strong>the</strong> premises from premises in respect <strong>of</strong> which<br />
<strong>the</strong>re is an Urban General Off-Licence, a Rural General Off-Licence, or a Limited Off-Licence<br />
obtained under <strong>the</strong> provisions <strong>of</strong> section 3(1) before 19:30 in <strong>the</strong> morning and after 21:00;<br />
Provided that no liquor shall be sold for consumption <strong>of</strong>f <strong>the</strong> premises from premises in<br />
respect <strong>of</strong> which <strong>the</strong>re is an Urban General Off-Licence, a Rural General Off-Licence, a<br />
Limited Off-Licence, a Combined General On- and Off-Licence between <strong>the</strong> hours <strong>of</strong> 11:30<br />
in <strong>the</strong> morning <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Saturday <strong>of</strong> any week and 07:30 in <strong>the</strong> morning <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Monday <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong><br />
succeeding week.<br />

1) No person may sell <strong>alcohol</strong> to <strong>the</strong> public outside <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> standard trading periods set by this<br />
Act.<br />
2) Any person who contravenes sub section (1) commits an <strong>of</strong>fence punishable on conviction<br />
by a fine <strong>of</strong> XX.<br />
3) For <strong>the</strong> purposes <strong>of</strong> this Act, <strong>the</strong> “standard trading period” means any day <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> week o<strong>the</strong>r<br />
than Sunday, Christmas day, Good Friday or Easter Monday (or o<strong>the</strong>r religious and public<br />
holidays appropriate to <strong>the</strong> country):<br />
i) from 10:00 to 20:30 pm for consumption <strong>of</strong>f <strong>the</strong> premises<br />
ii) from 10:00 to 12:00 for consumption on <strong>the</strong> premises except that this restriction shall<br />
not apply to <strong>the</strong> sale <strong>of</strong> <strong>alcohol</strong> to guests resident in a licensed accommodation hotel.<br />
