CHAPTER THIRTEEN<br />
SABBATH IN THE<br />
OLD TESTAMENT<br />
A<br />
fter thorough study in <strong>the</strong> <strong>New</strong> Testament, it was time<br />
to go back to <strong>the</strong> Old Testament. I had always thought<br />
that Sabbath was established at Creation. Since Sabbath<br />
was a Creation ordinance, <strong>the</strong>n it must be pre-Law, and<br />
should have a universal significance. So I went to Genesis<br />
two where <strong>the</strong> end of Creation is recorded.<br />
And on <strong>the</strong> seventh day God ended His work which He<br />
had done, and He rested on <strong>the</strong> seventh day from all<br />
His work which He had done. Then God blessed <strong>the</strong><br />
seventh day and sanctified it, because in it He rested<br />
from all His work which God had created and made.<br />
