This economizer monitors and analyzes the load on heating (or cooling)
systems in real time. It then modifies the way that the system is controlled
or cycled to produce measurable reductions in energy consumption, more
consistent comfort levels and more efficient use of the overall system. The
more precise control also alleviates wear and tear on equipment and
improves the environmental efficiency of the system.
The unit has been tested by an independent laboratory and in a real-time
market application, both of which verified the energy savings claims, reports
the manufacturer. Intellidyne products are UL listed in the U.S. and Canada
and have been tested by Brookhaven National Laboratories, ETL/Inchcape,
and major utility companies.
Along with the Heat Manager, Beckett recently introduced two new low
Nox/clean combustion oil burners, the NX and NXLE models.
