The new SeeSnake Plus self-leveling camera avoids disorientation caused
by movement of the camera because the water is always pictured running
along the bottom of the pipe.
“Because the self-leveling camera provides an image as it was meant to
be seen, it can give customers a clear understanding of what they are looking
at,” explains Mark Fleming, product manager. “This in turn helps (the
contractor) explain what repair is best needed.”
The camera is also one of the
smallest on the market at 1.365" in
diameter and 2" long.
Ridgid/Kollmann has also upgraded
the standard SeeSnake Plus camera.
The size has been reduced by 26 per
cent for improved maneuverability
inside the pipe. It now features 100
per cent stainless steel construction
plus a thicker light shield for better
wear resistance. The heavy-duty lighting
has also been improved for better
visibility and wear resistance.
All SeeSnake cameras feature a
built-in 512 Hz transmitter that
makes them compatible with Ridgid locators, as well as those from a
number of other manufacturers.
