Adding Host Types and Host Models to lsf.shared<br />

The lsf.shared file contains a list of host type and host model names for<br />

most operating systems. You can add to this list or customize the host type and<br />

host model names. A host type and host model name can be any alphanumeric<br />

string up to 29 characters long.<br />

Adding a custom host type or model<br />

1 Log on as the <strong>LSF</strong> administrator on any host in the cluster.<br />

2 Edit lsf.shared:<br />
