16 Finalizing the Installation<br />
Vent Location<br />

A vent restrictor is built into the appliance to adjust the flow rate of exhaust gases. This ensures<br />
proper combustion for all vent configurations. Depending upon the vent configuration, you may be<br />
required to adjust the restrictor position.<br />
NOTE: Vent location changes based<br />
upon restrictor position. Position # 1 is<br />
shown to the right. Each restrictor<br />
position moves the vent location forward<br />
(toward the fireplace opening)<br />
