Is there anyone over the age of 10 who does NOT find summer too short? The list of things I want to get done this summer is clearly too long, but I will be busting my tail to get them done — including soaking my feet off the end of a dock while reading a good book and trying some new beers. It’s a tough job, but someone’s got to do it! We have a number of stories to help inspire you on your own summer adventures. Summer music, summer theatre, summer reading, summer beer, summer wine ... the theme is hard to miss. Bryan Lavery sorts out the amazingly plentiful changes on the Stratford gastro scene, and as summer truly arrives, there is plenty of excitement and anticipation in the Festival City. Keep your eye out throughout this issue for information about other festivals of all kinds. Harbourfest in Port Stanley, Steed & Co.’s Lavender Fairy Festival, Downtown Woodstock’s Summer Streetfest, the Forest City Beer Fest ... the list goes on.
