These six forms express the sense perfectly,without the accompaniment of the pronouns (exceptin the case of the third person singidar) :that is, C65CUP, as it stands, without using alongwith it the pronoun cu, thou, expresses perfectly"thoutakest ;" and so of the others.5: But there is another way of expressing thepersons, singular and plural, namely, by usingone fomi of the verb for the whole six, and puttingin the pronouns to distinguish the personsand numbers. This is what is called the analyticform of the verb.6. In this analytic mode of expressing the personsand numbers, the form of the verb that isused is the same as the form for the third personsingular and the;persons singular and plural areexpressed as follows :—Singular.Plural.1.
