Psalm 6 shares 33 percent שּוב (1:2) and קשש , (1:1) פָ‏ ףַ‏ ל , (1:5) ףַ‏ ל (2:2),(20/60) of its vocabulary with Psalm 7, whereas Psalm 7 shares 20 percent(20/102) with Psalm 6. The gross verbal overlap is 12 percent (i.e., 20 of 162lexemes are shared).Is there anything significant in these shared lexemes? There may be somesignificance in the occurrence of אָ‏ וֶ‏ ן (81:29:3) since this is the thirdconsecutive psalm in which it appears.
