Instruction Manual <strong>MM850402</strong> ed. <strong>06</strong>3 PHYSICAL DESCRIPTIONThe <strong>3000</strong>-<strong>4000</strong> series portable analyzer consists of a rugged and c<strong>om</strong>pact case, a mother board with all basefunction circuits, 2, 3 or 4 electrochemical cells, a gas pump, a keyboard, an LCD backlighted display, a Ni-MHrechargeable battery pack and, optionally an impact printer.The 2 pieces of the case are jointed by 8 screws. An aut<strong>om</strong>atic back-light device and a “zo<strong>om</strong>” function, make the data on the display much easierto read. The most used operation (analysis, Draft, printing and smoke index) can be accessed by the operatorpressing a single key.15
