Practices that address logistical and affordability barriers to treatment entryAll facilities indicate that they provide treatment to clients who have no medical aidcoverage or are unable to pay for treatment. In terms of costs barriers, 68.8% of facilitiesroutinely offer reduced fees to indigent clients while 75.0% of facilities routinely havefree treatment beds/slots available (Figure 19). For the overall sample, the averagenumber of free treatment slots/beds available per year ranges from 5 to 120 (χ = 60.8, SD= 47.0). By province, the average number of free treatment slots/beds available per yearranges from 8 to 100 (χ = 56.3, SD = 40.8) in Free State, 5 to 25 (χ = 15.0, SD = 14.1) inLimpopo and 120 (χ = 120.0, SD = 0.0) in North West.
