MoslemiSummary:The system reliability is one of the most important indices for design and operation ofpower systems. In this project, the reliability assessment and improvement of “FREC”power transmission system has been done. For this reason, at first the outageoccurrences have been collected and then suggestions have been represented forreliability improvement by processing these data and evaluating the reliability indices.For doing this process, a multipurpose software has been developed.8
