SoleymaniThe aim of this project was to standardize different groups of hydro, steam and gaspower plant generators in order to meet requirements in design, manufacturing andoperation. The standards were established based on design (pre manufacturing),manufacturing and structural (during manufacturing) and maintenance and operation(after manufacturing process) points of view.For establishing standards, at first all international standards such as: IEC, ANSI, IEEE,DIN, …, related to subjects, taken into account. Then according to Iranian expertspoints of view, problems and requirements of existing power plants were prepared andsubmitted to client (Fourteen Report).On the next step, every report was considered technically, and at the end a technicalcommittee whom were all well-known experts from all around the country andrepresentatives from the involved companies considered it precisely and finallyapproved and published as version #one.Project Results:Mechanical and starting systems reports including:− General specifications of Starting systems− Specifications of Synchronous Generator BearingsMechanical Accessories of Synchronous GeneratorsTechnical specifications necessary for tender documentsThe specifications of cooling systemThe specifications of excitation systemDynamic parameters of synchronous generators and parameter determinationapproachFundamentals of monitoring and protection systemsThe specifications of stator and rotor report including:14
