Adding Modem Types1. To add a modem type, click the Add button. This opens the Modem Type window. The options containedwithin each tab of this window are detailed in the following section.2. Enter the required details and click OK.3. The new modem type is created and appears in the Programming (Modem Types) window.Modem Types | General Tab• Name: The name of the modem type.• Model: The model of the modem type.• Description: A description that outlines the modem type.• Category: The category that the modem type belongs to.• Delay between AT Commands (ms): The time delay in milliseconds to wait between each AT commandthat is sent to the modem.• Delay between Characters (ms): The time delay in milliseconds to wait between each character that is sentto the modem.• Initialization String 1: The AT Initialization string for the modem type.• Wait For Call Initialization String: The AT Wait For Call string for the modem type.• Modem Speaker Volume Off: The AT Modem Speaker Off string for the modem type.• Modem Speaker Volume Low: The AT Modem Speaker Low string for the modem type.• Modem Speaker Volume Medium: The AT Modem Speaker Medium string for the modem type.• Modem Speaker Volume High: The AT Modem Speaker High string for the modem type.• Dial String: The AT Dial string for the modem type.PRT-SMGT Protege System Management Suite Version 2.5.0 | PRT-SMGT 47
