<strong>Fort</strong> <strong>Knox</strong> <strong>Mine</strong> <strong>Technical</strong> <strong>Report</strong>11.0 DRILLINGDrilling has been used by FGMI to define mineral deposits in <strong>the</strong> Fairbanks miningdistrict. Diamond drilling and reverse circulation drilling were <strong>the</strong> two methods used at<strong>the</strong> <strong>Fort</strong> <strong>Knox</strong> project. The deposit has been defined by 751 drill holes (307 core holesand 444 reverse circulation holes totaling 492,663 feet), which have provided 98,651nominal 1.52-meter (5 foot) long samples, 97,420 of which were assayed <strong>for</strong> gold.Figure 11-1 displays <strong>the</strong> drill hole distribution at <strong>the</strong> <strong>Fort</strong> <strong>Knox</strong> deposit.Figure 11-1: Drill Hole Location Plan – <strong>Fort</strong> <strong>Knox</strong> Deposit Area34
