On-Site Task Supervisor1. Assumes primary responsibility for orienting the student to the agency, toagency staff, and to work projects; Appendix E provides additionalinformation to assist with orientation planning2. Works with the off-site MSW field instructor and student to create theLearning Plan, which includes competencies/practice behaviors andpractice tasks3. Assumes primary responsibility for supervising the daily work of thestudent as described in the Learning Plan; Appendix E provides somesupervision ideas4. Meets periodically with the student and the off-site MSW field instructorto evaluate student performance and modify the Learning Plan, ifnecessary; the on-site supervisor may meet with the faculty liaison toreview student progress, at the request of the student, the off-site MSWfield instructor or the liaison11
