INTRODUCTIONOVERVIEWThe Xtern-Cam ® is a Solar powered outdoor digital surveillance camera with nightvision that captures images when motion is detected within its field of view. Theimages are stored on a removable memory card for easy viewing on a computer.For fast and easy setup, the camera comes pre-configured with all the settingsrequired for standalone surveillance operation and only needs the date and timeto be set. This document outlines the steps involved with installing and using thecamera based on these settings.Please read this entire manual before using the camera in order to get themost out of its features and functions.A complete set of <strong>Installation</strong> and User <strong>Manual</strong>s can be found on the CameraSetup CD in the ‘User <strong>Manual</strong>s’ folder.
