A key or combination is issued with the locker. If your key or combination lock is lost or stolen,there will be a $30.00 replacement fee.Lockers are assigned based on main instrument size and availability. Lockers are located in the<strong>Music</strong> Building and <strong>Music</strong> Practice Building. Any falsified information will result in the loss <strong>of</strong>your locker.The <strong>College</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Music</strong> reserves the right to have access to all lockers and storage facilities on thepremises.All keys must be returned to the <strong>College</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Music</strong> by the end <strong>of</strong> Spring Semester <strong>of</strong> each year.KEYSThe Main Office staff in Rm. 102MB is available to open any room or piano, if necessary, duringregular business hours (8:00 AM to 5:00 PM).During non-business hours or weekends, sign out the necessary key(s), for a $20 cash securitydeposit by 4:45 PM. Keys will not be issued until the deposit is paid.The Green Room key may be checked out; a reception room (classroom) may be available also.Keys are to remain with the person to whom they are assigned.Keys must be returned by the 2 nd business day after use to Room 102 <strong>Music</strong> Building. Anenrollment hold will be placed on your records, if the key/keys are not returned in a timelymanner. In addition, your security deposit may be claimed, if keys are not returned before the2 nd business day after the recital/rehearsal.RECORDING SERVICES (http://www.music.msu.edu/recordingservices/)All faculty, student and guest artist recitals are recorded by advance request only. For requestshonored with less than two weeks notice, add $40 late fee. It is recommended that you makeyour recital recording requests as soon as your recital date and location are confirmed. Recitalsare recorded based on staff availability. It is especially important to get your requests in early forend-<strong>of</strong>-semester recitals.Go to room 226 <strong>Music</strong> Building to fill out a Recital Recording Request Form; or, print the formyourself online and turn it into the Recording Services mailbox in <strong>Music</strong> Office 102 MB.Please inform Recording Services immediately <strong>of</strong> any change in time or location <strong>of</strong> yourrecital. For less than 24 hours notice, you will be charged full price.You will be contacted by e-mail when your order is ready.It is your responsibility to listen to your recording and notify Recording Services <strong>of</strong> anyproblems immediately.Recitals in the <strong>Music</strong> Auditorium are recorded using the suspended microphone pair as standardprocedure. Custom microphone setups are available upon advance request.28
