In the <strong>College</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Music</strong>, the <strong>of</strong>fice <strong>of</strong> the Associate Dean for Undergraduate Studies andOperations has the responsibility for advising all undergraduate students, including Honors andnon-Honors <strong>College</strong> students.Students are required to fulfill only the degree requirements in effect at the time they areadmitted to one <strong>of</strong> the degree granting colleges <strong>of</strong> the <strong>University</strong>. (Normally this will be thethird year on campus.) The Curriculum Committee must approve any deviation from thecurriculum. Any subsequent changes in degree requirements adopted by the faculty may not beenforced on students already enrolled. All new students should obtain from the undergraduateadvising <strong>of</strong>fice <strong>of</strong> the <strong>College</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Music</strong> a current copy <strong>of</strong> the curriculum in which they areenrolled.Honors <strong>College</strong>: Students whose academic record is outstanding may be invited to becomemembers <strong>of</strong> the Honors <strong>College</strong>. The <strong>College</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Music</strong> <strong>of</strong>fers many honors opportunities,primarily through honors options, in various classes.
