FIRE IN OUR HEARTSAWAKE O ZION!ham, the Spirit confirmed this to us through prophetic wisdom:An ocean liner was plying through a calm sea, and there was arelaxed, festive atmosphere on board. Then the skies darkenedas it headed into enemy waters. The word went round to preparethe ship for action. The crew had been trained to playtheir part in enemy encounter and the liner soon looked like abattleship. Some of them thought this was all a bit intense andwent below deck to relax, play cards and have a good laugh.When the battle was engaged they were taken by surprise andin panic turned on the rest of the crew.Everyone needed to be functioning, and ready for battle.Amongst us, most were keen to move on in ministry and wereprepared for change. Moving into community had been a bigstep in discipleship. Living together, we had to walk in thelight. All was revealed: the good, the bad, and the ugly.Jesus Homes were training leaders, and new people werearriving all the time. Over a hundred people were sharing inthe common purse and the farm, health food and buildingenterprises were growing, too. New Creation Hall was so fullwe had two portakabins in the courtyard. There was a lot ofinterest among students in Britain. A number of Dutch peoplemoved over from Holland, and one girl came all the wayfrom the Australian outback! Four large houses were nowestablished and over a hundred of our people now lived onthe Bugbrooke housing estate. Most of these, intending tomove to large community houses, were keen to leap out ofthe frying pan into the fire!151
