Most of us hadmarched in a ‘Jesus Demonstration’ through Northampton.From Midsummer Meadow to All Saints Church we brandishedour placards and shouted our Jesus shouts. Paddyrushed around with a broad grin accosting the general public.I felt highly embarrassed. But it was fun.‘Hi, man! Smile! Jesus loves you!’Paddy thrust copies of Jesus Reality at some passers-by.‘Don’t miss the Music Festival on Monday. It’s far out!’On All Saints’ steps we knelt and prayed for the town. Afew told their stories and we walked to a youth centre for thetea and Celebration Rally. As we worshipped, Val was laughingfor joy. Yvonne, a schoolgirl, looked across at the liberatedschoolteacher and smiled. The Spirit came upon her, too,and she sank to the floor and worshipped God.75
