Topics include networking technologies,TCP/IP concepts, protocols, network trafficanalysis, monitoring, and security best practices.Upon completion, students should be able to identifynormal network traffic using network analysis toolsand design basic security defenses.SEC 210 Intrusion Detection (2-2-0-3)Prerequisites: SEC 150, SEC 160Corequisites: NoneThis course introduces the student to intrusiondetection methods in use today.
