The police also began collaboratingwith the Swedish Tax Agency, SwedishCustoms, the Swedish Prosecution Authority, theLarmtjänst service (set up to combat organised crimeon behalf of the Swedish insurance industry) and theSwedish Migration Board because of the special initiative.A methodological manual was updated andmade available to all police forces on the policeintranet, to enable the police to work in a consistentmanner against this type of crime.County of JönköpingBeginning in 2011, the police authority in the Countyof Jönköping worked on information gathering, tipoffmanagement and collaboration with other authoritiesconcerning human trafficking, procuring andthe purchase of sexual services. In addition, a dedicatedcontact person in the authority was appointedto take responsibility for these matters.
