PARTICIPATION LEVELSTABLE 3: PARTICIPATION IN SPORT AND RECREATIONAs can be seen in the table below, participation levels inCape Town are relatively low considering the vast naturalresources of the City. Only 24.6% of adult residentsparticipate in physical activities in their spare time. As can be seen below, the mostcommon activities are soccer (7.4%), walking (5.6%),aerobics/fitness (4.4%), netball (3.1%) and running(2.4%).
