(ii) validation or renewal <strong>of</strong> : Fifty percent <strong>of</strong> theCertificate <strong>of</strong> Airworthinessfees payableunder sub−item (i).(iii) issue <strong>of</strong> duplicate Certificate : Ten percent <strong>of</strong>Airworthiness<strong>of</strong> the feespayable undersub−item (i)(D)Issue, renewal or endorsement in the scope <strong>of</strong> a licence, Authorization, Approval orCertificate <strong>of</strong> Competency in respect <strong>of</strong> Aircraft Maintenance Engineers or Authorizedpersons or Approved persons or Certificate <strong>of</strong> Competency holders under rule 61:(i) for examination : Rs.500/−per paper.(ii) for issue or validation <strong>of</strong> licence : Rs.5,000/−or rating, Authorization, Approvalor Certificate <strong>of</strong> Competency(iii) for renewal <strong>of</strong> licence, rating, : Rs.2,500/−Authorization, Approval orCertificate <strong>of</strong> Competency(iv) for issue <strong>of</strong> duplicate : Rs.500/−licence, rating, Authorization,Approval or Certificate <strong>of</strong>CompetencyNote.− The maximum permissible take−<strong>of</strong>f weight for the purpose <strong>of</strong> this rule shall be asindicated in the Flight Manual <strong>of</strong> the aircraft.(1A) An additional amount <strong>of</strong> one lakh fifty thousand rupees shall be payable if the inspection,examination or test mentioned in sub-rule (1) is required to be carried out at any place outside India.(2) The fee shall be paid by crossed Indian Postal Order or Demand Draft drawn in favour <strong>of</strong> the Payand Accounts Office, Director General <strong>of</strong> <strong>Civil</strong> <strong>Aviation</strong>, <strong>Ministry</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Civil</strong> <strong>Aviation</strong>, New Delhi.(3) Where for any reason, the licence or authorisation or certificate, is not issued, renewed orvalidated, as the case may be, the Director-General may refund to the applicant such portion <strong>of</strong> thefees paid as represents the cost <strong>of</strong> any examination or test or inspection not carried out or anylicence, authorisation or a certificate not issued or renewed or validated, as the case may be.[Amended by: (i) GSR No. 1232 dated 18-9-1972,(ii) GSR No. 2387 dated 26-8-1975,(iii) GSR No. 6(E) dated 3-1-91,(iv) GSR No. 181(E) dated 20-03-2006,(v) GSR No. 101(E) dated 19-02-2009,(vi) GSR No. 745(E) dated 12 th October 2009, and(vii) GSR No. 1001(E) dated 22 nd December 2011]
