tariff shall be applicable alike to all aircraft whether registered in India or in anyother contracting State.(2) In the case of aerodromes belonging to the Authority, the charges mentionedin sub-rule (1) shall be levied by the Authority in accordance with section 22 ofthe Airports Authority of India Act, 1994. (55 of 1994).(3) In the case of licensed public aerodromes, other than the aerodromesbelonging to the Authority, the charges mentioned in sub-rule (1) shall bedetermined by the licensee in accordance with the principle of cost recovery asspecified by the International Civil Aviation Organisation and such charges shallbe notified with the approval of the Central Government or any authorityconstituted in this behalf by such Government.(4) Not withstanding anything contained in sub-rules (2) and (3), in the case of amajor airport, the tariff of charges referred to in sub-rule (1) shall be such as maybe determined under clause 9A) of sub-section (1) of section 13 of the AirportsEconomic Regulatory Authority of India Act, 2008.Explanation. – For the purpose of this rule, “Authority” means the AirportsAuthority of India constituted under section 3 of the Airports Authority of IndiaAct, 1994. Fee. – (1) The fee chargeable for the grant of a licence for an aerodromeshall be –(a) When the licence is granted Rs.1,00,000/-for private use(b) When the licence is granted Rs.5,00,000/-for public userunway length ofupto 5,000 feetplus Rs.2,00,000/-for every 1,000feet or part thereof.(2) The fee chargeable for renewal of license of an aerodrome shall be fifty percent of the fee for licence referred to in sub-rule (1).
