TroubleshootingProblemThis instrument does not turn on.A click or pop is heard when the power isturned on or off.Noise from the speakers or headphones isaudible.Possible Cause and SolutionThis instrument has not been plugged in properly. Insert the adaptor plug into an ACoutlet and the adaptor socket into the unit securely (page 11).This is normal when electrical current is being applied to the instrument.The noise may be due to interference caused by the use of a mobile phone in closeproximity to this instrument. Turn off the mobile phone, or move it further away fromthis instrument.The overall volume is low, or no sound isheard.The damper pedal has no effect, or the soundcontinuously sustains even when the damperpedal is not pressed.• The Master Volume is set too low. Set it to an appropriate level using the [MASTERVOLUME] control.• Make sure a pair of headphones is not connected to the headphones jack.• Make sure that Local Control (page 29) is ON.The pedal cord may not be properly connected.
