Conditions and prices.OptionsAgreed delivery dateDB SCHENKERsystem (International)DB Schenker offers unloading on a specified working dayfollowing our normal arrival according to the timetable. Arequest for specific arrival assurance must be transferredelectronically to DB Schenker.This option applies to unloading no more than five workingdays after normal arrival according to the timetable.SEK 225/consignmentNotificationDB SCHENKERsystem, -direct, -coldsped, -parcel and-hangartnerIf the consignor requests notification before deliveryis made there is a charge of: SEK 80 /consignmentThe consignee’s telephone or fax number must be provided.The timetable will not be valid when notification isrequested. Notification cannot be combined with Express.A notification charge will be payable if the consignor hassubmitted incomplete delivery details, or when the receptionfor the goods is unknown.DB SCHENKERprivpakNotification takes place by text message, e-mail, letter ortelephone. The choice of notification method can differbetween services. For prices and information about eachservice, see the brochure DB Schenkerparcel/privpak,Prices, Terms and Conditions.International: To enable notification, a separateagreement must be made.CODDB SCHENKERsystem, -direct, -coldsped, -parcel and-hangartnerDomestic: COD can only be sent as an EDI consignment.COD amounts, bank giro account number and contactdetails are compulsory items of information when notifyingthe customer.The consignee should be able to pay by credit card onthe DB Schenker website where DB Schenker administersthe payment, or by direct payment via an internet bankor a regular bank. For print-outs of EDI-waybills/parcellabels text is on a par with a label. If a label is missingin the transport instructions/on the parcel label and/oran individual parcel, DB Schenker is not responsible forcollection of the COD amount.If the consignor has specified consignments as COD, thefreight shall always be paid by the consignor. The price inSEK, as stated below, must be paid by the consignor.COD cannot be combined with Express. Onprinting out an EDI waybill l text is on a par with a label ontransport instructions/DK document although each parcelmust be marked with a separate label.Price DB SCHENKERsystem: SEK 455/consignmentDB SCHENKERparcel: see brochure Prices and ConditionsDB Schenker’s liability arising from damage in conjunctionwith non-fulfilment of the transport promise (delay) is amaximum of SEK 5,000 per consignment, including freightcosts. Compensation is paid when a claim is lodged andwhen a loss as a result of the delay can be proven. Expressis not available in conjunction with COD. Transport ofdangerous goods can only take place after prior agreementhas been reached.Express cannot be combined with Special, Home delivery,Dangerous Goods or Heated.Top/Top 12 (international)DB SCHENKERtop on a specified working day according toDB Schenker’s timetable.DB SCHENKERtop12 no later than 12 noon on a specifiedworking day according to DB Schenker’s timetable.The prices and regulations below are supplements to ordinarytransport prices and are based on the undertaking in theDB SCHENKERtop/DB SCHENKERtop12 guarantee options.If one of the working days in the agreed transport periodshould fall on a public holiday in the country in question,the lead time is increased by this day. The geographicalscope is defined according to the timetable on theDB Schenker website www.dbschenker.com/seGenerally, the DB SCHENKERtop/DB SCHENKERtop12options apply to transport between EU countries, aswell as certain countries outside the EU, with a certaingeographical delimitation in the respective country.Prerequisites for options:• Separate booking for DB SCHENKERtop/DB SCHENKERtop12 according to local agreement• Normal traffic conditions• Consignment ready for collection at an agreed collectiontime• Identification of all items in each consignment usinglabels, DB SCHENKERtop/DB SCHENKERtop12, whichare attached to the transport label with correct, completeand legible information about the consignor and theconsignee• Identification of all transport instructions using labelsfor DB SCHENKERtop/DB SCHENKERtop12.• The consignee can receive the consignment duringnormal working hours at the latest stated delivery time• Customs clearance shall be carried out by DB Schenker• Examination by the customs authority lasting longerthan one (1) hour is not covered by the supplierguarantee• Necessary and correct documents for customs clearanceare required• Variations in traffic may occur in connection withpublic holidays and during the holiday periodThe option does not include:• National consignments• Delivery on public holidays (regulations regardingdeliveries on public holidays according to the applicableDB Schenker office’s regulations)• Consignments with messages and consignments deliveredto local collection points (e.g. petrol stations)• Islands (except: mainland Britain, Ireland and Danishislands that can be reached via bridges)• Consignments to ports• COD consignments• Live animals and plants, valuables, cash, shares anddocuments• Dangerous goods according to ADR or IMDGclassification• Examination by a customs authority which lasts morethan one (1) hour is not covered by the deliveryguarantee• Necessary and correct documents for customs clearanceare required• Variations in traffic may occur in connection with publicholidays and during the holiday period.• Temperature-sensitive goods• Waste and other goods that require monitoring• Personal belongings• Goods longer than 2.4 m19
