N° Name Function<br />
1 Operating panel Panel with operation keys, LCD message unit and LED status<br />
indicator lamps.<br />
2 Jet wash liquid tank This is the tank that holds the maintenance liquid (washing<br />
liquid).<br />
3 Ink tanks These tanks supply ink.<br />
4 Air tubes These tubes adjust air within each tank.<br />
5 Ink tank tubes Emerging from beneath the right cover, these tubes connect<br />
the ink tanks with solenoid valves. (Marked K, C, M, Y<br />
marks).<br />
6 Jet wash tube Beneath the right cover, this tube connects the jet wash liquid<br />
tank with the maintenance unit solenoid valve. (Marked J).<br />
7 Ink tray This is the tray that holds the jet wash tank, ink tanks, waste<br />
liquid tank. The ink tanks are placed in order from front to<br />
back: K (black), C (cyan), M (magenta) and Y (yellow).<br />
8 Waste liquid tank This tank recovers waste liquid generated when power is<br />
switched on and during the cleaning operation.<br />

This tube connects the waste liquid tank with the<br />
maintenance unit pump. (Marked W)<br />
10 Hold lever This lever is moved up and down when paper is loaded or<br />
removed.<br />
11 Cutter groove This groove is used when roll media is cut after printing.<br />
12 Power switch This is the power switch (sequence switch) for operating the<br />
printer.<br />
13 Take-up mechanism This mechanism winds up media that has been printed.<br />
14 Take-up scroller<br />

This shaft is used by passing it through the take-up paper<br />
tube.<br />
15 Take-up paper tube This tube is used for winding up roll media.<br />
16 Memory cover This is the cover for extending memory.<br />
17 Board box This contains the main CPU board, power supply<br />
components, etc.<br />
