Step 5:<br />
If the printed media is fed too far, the media will return when the<br />
[BACKWARD] key is pressed.<br />
Cut the printed result by passing a cutter blade along the cutter groove (1) on the platen (2).<br />

• When you press the [TOP MARGIN] key after cutting the media, a top<br />
margin (a leading edge margin of 50 mm or more) is taken and the<br />
system is ready for the next printing. If the [TOP MARGIN] key is not<br />
pressed, the next printing will begin from the current position.<br />
• If you press the [TOP MARGIN] key without cutting the media, up to 1<br />
m of media is fed and the system is ready for the next printing.<br />
• If “Print Condition: Roll Media Cut” under the main menu is set to<br />
“Manual”, media is fed automatically to the cutter groove after printing<br />
finishes and the following display appears:<br />

• When the [ENTER] key is pressed, a top margin is taken and the<br />
system is ready for the next printing. If you press [ENTER] without<br />
cutting, the system will be ready for the next printing at the current<br />
position.<br />
• If you press the media while you are cutting roll media, you risk cutting<br />
your finger with the cutter, so don’t put your fingers over the cutter<br />
groove. If you apply force to move the cutter, you may cut your finger<br />
or hand. Move the cutter slowly along the cutter groove.<br />
• If the platen heater temperature was set to a high value, wait until it<br />
has cooled before cutting.<br />
