Step 5:
If the printed media is fed too far, the media will return when the
[BACKWARD] key is pressed.
Cut the printed result by passing a cutter blade along the cutter groove (1) on the platen (2).

• When you press the [TOP MARGIN] key after cutting the media, a top
margin (a leading edge margin of 50 mm or more) is taken and the
system is ready for the next printing. If the [TOP MARGIN] key is not
pressed, the next printing will begin from the current position.
• If you press the [TOP MARGIN] key without cutting the media, up to 1
m of media is fed and the system is ready for the next printing.
• If “Print Condition: Roll Media Cut” under the main menu is set to
“Manual”, media is fed automatically to the cutter groove after printing
finishes and the following display appears:

• When the [ENTER] key is pressed, a top margin is taken and the
system is ready for the next printing. If you press [ENTER] without
cutting, the system will be ready for the next printing at the current
position.
• If you press the media while you are cutting roll media, you risk cutting
your finger with the cutter, so don’t put your fingers over the cutter
groove. If you apply force to move the cutter, you may cut your finger
or hand. Move the cutter slowly along the cutter groove.
• If the platen heater temperature was set to a high value, wait until it
has cooled before cutting.
