SWITCHING THE POWER ON
Step 1:
The installation of this printer will be witnessed by your local MUTOH
dealer but, to avoid unexpected damage to the printer, please check that
all transportation materials have been removed before the power is
switched on.
Turn on the power by setting the power switch on the front of the
printer to “I”.
Step 2:
To operate the printer correctly, close the hold lever and all covers before
switching on the power.
When the power is switched on, after showing
the firmware version for a certain time on the
liquid crystal display unit on the panel, the
controller initialization process will begin.
Step 3:
When controller initialization is completed,
various mechanisms are initialized and when
these have ended normally, the next display
appears and the printing is enabled.

If anything abnormal is detected by the initialization operations the details
will be displayed in the liquid crystal display unit and appropriate action
must be taken.
If there is insufficient ink:
[K C M Y] Unloaded
Press ink key
Refer to the item on “Initial filling with ink” and fill with ink.
If there is no printing media:
No Media
Set Media
Refer to the item on “Loading roll media” and load media.
