2.2.2 MANUAL STARTINGa. Starting Instructions (Manual Starting)1. To start the unit manually, place Run-Stop Switchto RUN position and the On-Off Switch (Cab Commandif used) to ON position.2. Press the Auto S/S---Continuous Key (ifnecessary) to erase AUTOSTART/STOP Symbol fromthe display.3. Press the Function Change Key until AUTO OPor MAN OP appears on the display.a. If AUTO OP appears:(1) Press the Enter Key.(2) Press the Up Or Down Arrow Key to make MANOP appear on the display.(3) Press the Enter Key. The unit is in MANUALSTART mode.b. If MAN OP appears: the unit is in MANUALSTART mode.4. Use the Manual Glow/Crank Switch to start theunit refer to Table 2-1.NOTEOnce the unit is programmed for Man OP, theAuto S/S --- Continuous Key can be used totoggle between Auto Start/Stop and ManualStart Continuous Run.3. The microprocessor will perform a self-test (alldisplay messages will appear in display window). Next,setpoint and box temperature will be displayed.“NO POWER” will be displayed if truck unit isswitched to standby and power plug is not plugged in.2.4 COMPARTMENT OPERATIONa. Starting Compartment1. Switch unit Engine-Start run switch ON. Forstarting instructions on the nosemount unit, refer tosection 2.2.2. Press system on/off button to ON position (seeFigure 2-1).3. Press required compartment on/off button toON position (see Figure 2-1).4. The unit will start and display DEF --- --- for 20seconds. The last temperature setpoint and currentcompartment temperature will then be displayed.5. Set required temperature by pressing up ordown arrow keys as required.6.
