I. All the AA units selected to accompany the assault<br />

forces and initial follow-up wcre relieved of opcrational missions<br />

in Italv and Sicily and movcd to the Salerno Invasion<br />

Training C~nt~r for a 'short period of intensive amphibiou~<br />

training with divisions and re-equipping prior to actual<br />

embarkation from Naples and Taranto.<br />
