<strong>How</strong> <strong>to</strong> <strong>do</strong> a <strong>VCA</strong> 69■ Is the action linked <strong>to</strong> more fundamental social <strong>and</strong>/or structuraltransformation requiring a long-term strategy <strong>to</strong> belooked at in the future?As they work through the exercise, participants may also wish <strong>to</strong>consider other criteria, bearing in mind that not all solutions areequally beneficial <strong>and</strong> that some are more difficult <strong>to</strong> achieve thanothers. These “supplementary” criteria could include, for example:power relations, gender concerns, culture, increased income,reduced risk, skills available, environmental themes, etc.The proposed solutions should then be recorded in a chart suchas that shown in Table 4, below.
