ATSG-NCSUBJECT: NCO Academy <strong>Policy</strong> Memorandum #11 - Cadre Work areas, Classrooms, Gymand Outside area Standardsd. Do not place anything on the wall-mounted TV stand.e. Field jackets and overcoats will be neatly hung on the coat/hat racks provided. They willnot be placed on backs of chairs or on the floor.f. Do not use the classrooms to store such things as empty boxes, personal items,memorabilia or excess publications, and/or lesson plans not being used that day.g. Coffee pots are authorized in the classrooms; however, they must be kept clean and turnedoff prior to leaving for the day.4. Telephones are for student-NCO use and must stay plugged in at all times. They are foroutgoing official calls only, no personal calls or incoming calls.5. Food items and drinks from the vending machines are allowed in individual classrooms at thediscretion of each SGL. External food sources (e.g. pizza, subs, hamburgers, etc.) may beconsumed only during non-POI hours. Drinks may be consumed in the classrooms, student-NCO lounge or outside break area only.6. Cadre Work and Common Area Standards:Must be kept clean at all times.No excess trash.Paperwork is to be kept organized.7. Gym Area Standards:Do use proper lifting techniques when lifting and moving weights around the room.Do wipe down equipment after use.Do wear shoes with good traction.Do wear IPFU, athletic clothing, or remove ACU top when working out.Do return weights to the proper racks when complete.Do clean up behind yourself.Do report damaged equipment immediately.Don’t continue lifting if you feel pain.Don’t have food or drinks (water/energy drinks with caps are OK) in the workout areaDon’t lift heavy (free) weights without spotters.Don’t let weights slam.Don’t drop weights on the ground.2
