ATSG-NCSUBJECT: NCO Academy <strong>Policy</strong> Memorandum #25 - Test Administration Statementcounseling room until a decision is made concerning his or her ability to take the examination.(3) The SSGL or First Sergeant will conduct an inquiry to determine the exact nature ofthe student-NCO’s inability to complete the examination.(4) If handled by the SSGL, they will then present the case to the First Sergeant. If theFirst Sergeant is unavailable, take the case to the Commandant.(5) The First Sergeant will determine the validity of the case and bring a recommendationto the Commandant. The Commandant will make the final decision on what course of action totake.(6) The First Sergeant and SSGL will counsel the student-NCO, determine when thestudent-NCO can take the examination, and coordinate with the Test Control Officer for a newtesting time.(7) Testing of the student-NCO will take place that day and prior to the next duty day'sclasses. The student-NCO will take a different version of the test than was given to the rest ofthe class. If the student-NCO is still unable to test, appropriate administrative action will betaken, which could include processing the student-NCO for either administrative or motivationalrelease from the Academy.5.
