Reference:a. AR 380-5, Department of the <strong>Army</strong> Information Security Program, 29 Sept 00.b. DA PAM 205-1 Energy Conservation guidelines for the Operation of Controlled HumidityAwareness.2. Purpose. To establish End-of-Day Security Procedures for offices and buildings assigned tothe NCO Academy.3. Responsibilities. Senior SGL (SSGL) and Staff NCOICs will ensure compliance with thefollowing guidelines at Close of Business (CoB) each day:a. Dispose of unclassified sensitive data (i.e., documents with social security numbers and“FOR OFFICIAL USE ONLY” classification) in appropriate containers.b. Empty trash cans.c. Close and lock windows and blinds.d. Unplug appliances.e. Clear desks of paper and leave in an orderly fashion.f. Secure sensitive information.g. Turn off computers, printers, and lights.
