VISION TOUCH THRCONNECTION TO RS-485 FOR TELENET OR MODBUS-RTU3.6Connect the earth to the GNDterminal of M3 in the console(functional earth). This connectionhelps to limit the effects of theelectromagnetic noise on thecontrol system. The groundconnection must be made in amanner consistent with applicableregulations.Connect the terminal (A) of M3 inthe console to signal A of theModbus line and the terminal (B)of M3 in the console to signal B ofthe Modbus line. Connect thebraid of the shielded cable to theterminal (GND) of M3 in theconsole. Use twisted cablesuitable for the transmission ofRS485 signals with minimumsection of 0.5 mm2 (e.g. Belden8762 cable).
