In the next semester, wecontinue our work in maintaining and enhancing the functionality of the web server by addingand modifying the source code. We have made the server able to carry out multi-functionssuch as configuring three different interfaces, adding and deleting users, supporting fileuploading, etc.37
Spreadsheet Error DetectionAdvisor : CHEUNG Shing Chi / CSEStudent : LI Ching Ki / COMP(UROP1000, Summer 2011)This project involves the design of spreadsheet tasks of copy and paste. Studies show thatover 90% of spreadsheets contain errors, and most errors are likely to contact copy and pastefaults. As nowadays spreadsheets are mostly developed by end-users instead of professionalprogrammers, operational risks indeed exist anywhere in the spreadsheet. The test casesdesigned in this project can be used for static analysis to detect certain type of change-inducedfaults. The tool is implemented in MS 2010, which is one of the most commonly usedspreadsheet software.Spreadsheet Error DetectionAdvisor : CHEUNG Shing Chi / CSEStudent : LI Pui Ping / ACCT & ECON(UROP1000, Summer 2011)This project focuses on the research on spreadsheet reuse errors and copy and paste errors forend-users. Without proper debugging of a spreadsheet by programming experts, errors aredisguised until the next user discovers them, which is known as reuse errors.
