Using Micrologic Trip UnitsThe Micrologic Range of Trip UnitsPresentationMicrologic trip units are used on the Compact NSX range of circuit breakers. The range of Micrologic tripunits consists of 2 families of electronic trip unit:• Micrologic 1 and 2 trip units without display• Micrologic 5 and 6 trip units with displayDescription of the Micrologic 1 and 2 Trip UnitsMicrologic trip units are grouped by application. A distinction is made between distribution and motorapplications:• In the distribution application, Micrologic 2 trip units are adapted to protecting conductors incommercial and industrial electrical distribution.• In the motor application:• Micrologic 1.3 M trip units are adapted to short-circuit protection of motor-feeders.• Micrologic 2 M trip units are adapted to protecting motor-feeders on standard applications.
