CORRESPONDENCE:
Mrs. Mitchell: Under Correspondence you will see in your packet there are five letters
that were included and there is an explanation on the Agenda of each.
1. Thank you letter from the Barnegat Branch of the Ocean County Library
to Dr. Thomas McMahon, Mrs. Beverly Neyenhouse, Mr. Frank
Constantine and the students and staff of the Russell O. Brackman Middle
School. For the use of the auditorium for their presentation celebrating
Hispanic Heritage Month. The Library manager noted that the staff and
students were extremely respectful and helpful during the performance.
2. Thank you letter from the members of the Four Seasons at Mirage Board
of Trustees, to Mrs. Linda Mitchell and the Barnegat Board of Education.
For the use of the Barnegat High School auditorium, for their production
of “Broadway and Beyond” on October 4 th , 5 th and 6 th .
3. Thank you letter from Marlee Saxton for giving her the opportunity to
work at the Barnegat summer camp. Marlee expressed what a great
experience it was for her and how much she enjoyed working with the
kids. She hopes to continue working for Barnegat in their Summer Camp
program.
4. Congratulations to Barnegat Township School District for their
participation in the Ocean County Board of Health Dental program.
Student participating in this program received Dental examinations, xrays,
a cleaning and a fluoride treatment, along with instructions on
nutritional information from the American Dental Association.
5. Letter from Marianne Clemente in regards to interview process and how
she was disheartened to find out that there would be no public vetting of
the candidates and that the Board was retired to closed session to discuss
which two candidates would be selected.
