Geometry: Activities to Promote Understanding, Reasoning and
Connections on December 5, 2007. The Workshop will demystify
common misunderstandings related to geometry and provide ways to help
students acquire the geometric concepts needed in order to perform well
on NJ ASK 5, 6, 7 and GEPA. Fee is $195 per person and mileage will be
144 miles x .485 per mile = $69.84 per person. Tolls will be $4 per
person. Total cost $537.68.

COUNSELORS IN ATLANTIC CITY, NJ – MEAN GIRLS
WORKSHOP ON DECEMBER 10, 2007
Motion to approve attendance of Robin Urso and Susan Stashkevetch in
Atlantic City on December 10, 2007 at a Workshop entitled Mean Girls
which deals with relational aggression exploration, motivation
strategies/methods, empowerment methods; best practice strategies,
interventions. The fee is $129 per person and the mileage is $44.62 per
person for a total of $347.24.
41. MOTION TO APPROVE ATTENDANCE AT (3) NJPSA COMMITTEE
MEETINGS IN JAMESBURG, NJ – MARY LABRUNA, MATH
SUPERVISOR
Motion to approve attendance at three NJPSA Committee meetings in
Jamesburg, NJ by Mary LaBruna, Math Supervisor. The purpose of these
meetings is curriculum/assessment evaluation. The mileage for the three
meetings is 372 miles x .485 = $180.42.
