Mrs. Mitchell: Thank you, Motion passes. Mr. Dorow, please, Item #50 under Finance.
Mr. Dorow: Yes, I would like to move #Item 50; I asked that it be handled be itself
because of the significance of Item #50. I am sure the public is well aware that each
school in New Jersey must have an independent audit done by a licensed firm. In our
case we have Ford, Scott, Seidenberg and Kennedy, a well-known company that does
numerous municipalities and school boards. While I am the rookie on the Board of
Education, I have retired after 40 years experience in public education, 30 years as a
school business official and sometime working for the State Department of Education as
a County Superintendent of Schools and a County School Business Administrator. So I
take the audit report seriously and I reviewed hundreds of them over the years and I
wanted to pull this one because I thought it was especially important. I think this is truly
one of the most outstanding audits I have ever seen, prior to us meeting here we met with
the auditor, we discussed such things as internal controls, adjustments and various
schedules and I am just so pleased that we have an audit this year and I understand even
prior year, perhaps the year before that without recommendations. In my career I
reviewed audits that contained as many as 37 recommendations. I would like to
commend Dr. McMahon, Mr. Falkowski and their staff for doing outstanding work in
keeping the records and the financial situation of the school district in hand.

Mrs. Mitchell: OK, any other discussion/comments? One thing I would like to say
before the vote is year after year these audits are always outstanding, and again I really
believe Dr. McMahon and Mr. Falkowski deserve a round of applause, thank you both so
