(e) The student enrollment for the Term of the Agreement will not be less than
3,200 students.
(f) Certain variable District expenses must be identified and capped so as not to
exceed current rates.
(g) The actual costs charged to the Food Service budget by the District shall not
exceed the projected operating expenses as set forth in Chartwells’ proposal.
(h) The selling prices of Menu Pattern Meals and a la carte selections will
not be less than those included in the proposal.
(i) Service will not be interrupted as a result of fire, work stoppage, bomb
threats, strike or school closing.
(j) The District and its representatives including but not limited to, school
principals, teachers and District employees shall full cooperate with
Chartwells in the implementation of the Food Service Program. The District
shall fully cooperate with Chartwells to limit the expansion of competitive
food sales in order to maximize the gross receipts and other non-cash sales of
the food Service Program.
In the event the foregoing conditions are not met during the school year, the break-even
obligation shall be reduced by an amount equivalent to any increased cost or loss of
revenue attributable to the change in such conditions.

35. MOTION TO APPROVE TOM DURALEK’S ATTENDANCE AT A
RUTGERS UNIVERSITY WORKSHOP, PISCATAWAY, NJ –
NOVEMBER 16, 2007
Motion to approve Tom Duralek’s attendance at a Workshop at Rutgers
University in Piscataway, NJ entitled Strategies to Prepare Special
Education Students for the HISPA on November 16, 2007. This
workshop presents ideas to help students boost their performance on the
HSPA. Fee is $195 and mileage/tolls are 144 miles at .485 = $69.84, tolls
- $4. Total expense $268.84.
