These events range from small club events held on a regular basis to large scaleevents. They can cause management problems, adversely affect the environment and/or conflict withother users.Actions1. Require organisers of all competitive events to obtain approval from the MarinePark Manager and comply with conditions imposed. Implement a permit system asrequired.2. Encourage organisers of fishing competitions to conduct competitions by speciesand not by bag-weight to minimise local impacts on conservation values.3.
