4. Ensure commercial operators maintain appropriate standards with respect toinformation and quality <strong>of</strong> service provided. Target concessionaires as a highpriority for information and education.5. Develop underwater trails that complement the Boyinaboat Trail and cater for arange <strong>of</strong> skills.6. Provide information on the marine environment and, where possible, conductguided nature swims and walks, and other tours by appropriately trained staff andvolunteers.7. Continue to provide the public with printed and electronic interpretative materialthat deals with aspects <strong>of</strong> the marine and coastal natural history <strong>of</strong> the <strong>Park</strong>.8. Regularly review and update interpretive signs and displays, including panel andinteractive material. Consider their location onshore in liaison with the appropriateland manager.9. Promote educational tours by school and other groups. Organise special 'HolidayActivities Programs' at least annually to coincide with school holidays or specialfunctions.10. Ensure that adequate information is provided for boat users on safety requirements,conditions at sea and boating ethics.11. Provide signs in accordance with CALM's sign manual. Consider the need todistinguish <strong>Park</strong> signs for the proliferation <strong>of</strong> other signs, particularly along thecoastal strip. Liaise with nearby land managers regarding CALM signs onshore.12. Develop interactive displays to be used at special functions outside the <strong>Park</strong>.13. Continue to be proactive in the provision <strong>of</strong> news items to local and metropolitanmedia (refer also to Section 23.0, Marketing and Promotion).56
