C. Employee Health Department Reports.
1. SLUHospital Infection Control Committee
Employee Health will be represented on the SLUHospital Infection Control Committee. The Employee
Health Nurse will submit a monthly written report including:
a. Summary of HCW exposures. This is to include the disease involved, the number of HCWs exposed, the
number and results of post-exposure evaluations.
b. Cases of HCWs diagnosed with contagious infections or diseases, work location, and date of diagnosis.
c. Annual PPD conversions and the number of HCWs tested.
d. Other pertinent Employee Health findings or issues
D. Maintenance of policies and procedures:
Employee Health will revise and submit all policies and procedures for annual review and approval. All new
and/or revised policies and procedures will be approved by the SLUHospital Infection Control Committee before
being instituted.
